Welcome to my homepage!
This page contains useful information and links, so please have a look. The main
menu to your left helps navigate the site and a short description of the options
can be found in the tooltips (hover the mouse cursor over the links). Not
everything is publicly accessible; some pages can only be opened in my home
network or are protected by a username and password. Why does this page look this way?If you have opened this website in a modern browser, you will by now probably have seen a distinctive look unlike most contemporary websites. There is good reason for that: this website is made to run on old computers. Think System 7.5 running Netscape Navigator, Windows 3.1 running Internet Explorer or Red Hat Linux 6 running Firefox. To achieve this I have used mostly pure HTML, with limited use of CSS. Width has been limited to 800 pixels to minimize horizontal scrolling. More information can be found on the About page (in Dutch).Why is everything written in Dutch?Well, because I myself am Dutch, obviously. And since this website is primarily meant to store, record and register information about things that concern me or my stuff, Dutch is the language of choice. I do, however, hope to find the time to translate other sections of the site to English but it will (most likely) remain at the bottom of my to-do list. Google Translate makes most things readable and if in doubt, contact me! |
